How to play Yahtzee

  1. Roll all five dice. You can re-roll any of them up to two more times.
  2. Score one box on your sheet after your rolls. Every box is used exactly once, so sometimes you'll have to score 0 somewhere.
  3. After 13 turns every box is filled. The highest total wins.

Each extra Yahtzee after the first, if you scored 50 in the Yahtzee box, is worth a 100-point bonus.

Getting three of each number in the upper section adds up to exactly 63, which is the easiest way to think about the bonus target.
